Death Whispers Series

Death Whispers

This was a fun series, a new twist, on the whole super-power/fantasy genre. The premise of this series was that scientist's had found a genome that gives people different abilities/super powers, like telekinesis, astral projection, and control over death, so they've created a kind of vaccine that activates these powers in people who have them, since not everyone does, and as the series goes on there's this whole conspiracy thing that unfolds, that was kinda of interesting, and crosses over with another series written by this author (The Savage Series, which is actually a big prequal kind of the death series) I really enjoyed this series, but I do have to give a disclaimer, there is language in this series, they drop the F word sproatically through-out the series. This should probably have stopped me from reading it, normally it does. I'm not a big fan of really foul language like the F word, in my opinion it does nothing to enhance or add to the story, it's used just to be vulgar and crude, and is completely un-necessary. When I normally come across the F word in a book it ruins it for me and puts me off the book, but I was caught up in this story and I finished the book and went on to read the rest. I admit this is a justification, but it's not used a million times, just randomly through-out. In the later books it was used a bit more, so fair warning, if you do not like or tolorate that kind of language then this is not for you.
