The Forgotten Garden
Kate Morton has written several books all of which are good on different levels but follow the same kind of format, where it's a mystery that is intertwined in the past and present, so the story will bounce back and forth between what happend in the past and what the people in th present are learning about the past and the mysteries that took place there. The time jumps I didnt think were too hard to follow, and the story was very interesting, with some good twists and turns. There is swearing, but no overly foul or crude language, now my definition and statndards on what is foul and overly crude may be different than others so to me it really conists of the F word and any crude words pertaning to body parts, so none of that in this book or, as far as I can remember, any of her other books that I've read. The story line isn't necessarily a happy one, the past events are rather hard and maybe more adult, but this was a good book, got me thinking and guessing as I tried to figure it all out. I would recommend this book to someone looking for an interesting and engaging read.
